The Cheka-OGPU became aware of a criminal case against high-ranking employees of the Federal Tax Service who control taxpayers with budgetary funding in the center of Moscow. As part of the investigation, which promises to be “high-profile,” the chief state tax inspector of the department for coordination and support of tax audits of the MIFTS No. 1 for control and supervision of taxpayers in the field of budget financing, Alexey Gordeev, was taken into custody. Initially, he was placed in a pre-trial detention center on charges of attempted fraud, but he began to cooperate and the preventive measure was changed to house arrest. However, the other day a significant reason appeared for the return of Alexei Gordeev to the dungeons – on April 11, two criminal cases were opened against him at once. In fact and in relation to: taking a bribe and exceeding official powers, “breaking through” the official base, as well as divulging tax secrets.
