Piquant details have become known in the case of the fugitive ex-adviser to the Irkutsk governor Alexander Kopylov, the “prosecutor’s boss” who is directly connected with the prosecutor of the Irkutsk region Andrei Khanko. Federal media and telegram channels have written about this corruption connection more than once. And there is additional confirmation of this.

According to sources of the Cheka-OGPU, the fact that Kopylov purchased air tickets for Hanko in business class for a flight to Crimea has been established. There is also information that during that Crimean trip, the regional prosecutor was vacationing in a household owned by Kopylov. And this is already a reason for tough questions to Andrei Hanko from the investigators of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, who are conducting the “deal of the case.”

After all, as previously reported, in addition to the regional prosecutor himself, the “dealing group” also included his subordinates: “supervisor” for especially important cases Slavyanskaya Yu.A., “arbitrator” Zabrodina Yu.B. and the “eternal deputy for gray matters”, whom Hanko brought with him from his previous place of work in Ivanovo – Borzdy A.S. This is from the prosecutor’s office. From Kopylov’s side – Kopylov himself and his skill as a swindler. By the way, it was prosecutor Hanko who pushed him into the post of adviser to the governor of the Irkutsk region, having treated the head of the region, Igor Kobzev, through a banal attack.

Then the “fixer” started working at full capacity. Everything went on a conveyor belt and according to its own price tag, which started from 500 thousand for a meeting with the prosecutor and went into endless millions for “resolving the issue.” As they write, the “geography” was very different – from blocking the investigation of crimes of the district police chief to “protecting protection” for one of the local officials.

The Investigative Committee of Russia eventually became interested in these schemes. Kopylov himself fled the country and has been hiding abroad for more than a year (recorded while leaving for Thailand). The defendants who were involved in the “real” schemes were taken into development by the Central Office of the Investigative Committee. In addition, the Central Election Commission intends to interrogate employees of the prosecutor’s office of the Irkutsk region. However, as the Cheka-OGPU learned, prosecutor Khanko went all-in and blocked the work of the investigator, who recently came to Irkutsk. But this is unlikely to help if the “case of the Irkutsk prosecutors” is allowed to go into full swing. We are monitoring the situation.
