According to sources of our channel, in early 2023, a batch of boxes was stolen from the office of the Express company. The “dark horse” introduced itself as the real recipient of the cargo and presented, as it later turned out, forged documents in his name. An hour later, another recipient of the same cargo and almost all of his relatives came to the office. They declared, without evidence, that the boxes should contain drones. Although no one warned about this before. 
Eldar Karakhanov, who lives in Dubai, sent a parcel from Moscow to St. Petersburg. It is connected to the store Cornu.ru, which is owned by Tatyana Zarovskaya. It was from Zarovskaya that Karakhanov bought drones, he told the operatives. Zarovskaya herself does not care about the fate of the cargo and the fact that she did not receive funds for it from Karakhanov. The orders of Karakhanov and Zarovskaya’s clients were served by one manager – Elena Emuranova. On her social media accounts, she states that she has been living in Dubai for 2 years and makes money by shipping iPhones from the UAE to Russia.
The arbitration did not understand the history either. Based on one invoice, the authenticity of which raises many questions, 13.8 million rubles were recovered from Express. The court did not pay attention to the nuances of the history and arguments of the logistics company. However, after 1.5 years the drones have not been found. As there is still no evidence that they even existed and belonged to Karakhanov himself.
At the same time, St. Petersburg security officials were investigating a case of fraud involving those same “drones.” But it is full of miracles. The security forces rushed to investigate the case with unprecedented agility. Karakhanov was recognized as a victim on the day of the theft, although he was in Dubai and could not communicate with the operatives. Switchman Nikita Deiner, who took the parcel, was detained by operatives two days later. But the investigation stopped there. The security forces never found where the cargo itself was or to whom it was sent after the theft. Although Deiner’s phone is full of clues. But the correspondence between the switchman and the customers magically disappeared from the criminal case. It is known that the boxes containing the drones allegedly moved towards Volgograd after the theft. Deiner was promised 200 thousand in crypto for visiting the Express office.
Eldar Karakhanov’s signatures miraculously materialized on all documents related to the case. Although he has lived in Dubai for a long time, he manages to testify against Deiner from there. Whereas the court stubbornly refuses to recognize the Express company as an injured party and to allow its representatives to participate in the Deiner case.
The supposedly existing drones are stated to be Chinese. Sellers had to have documents for their import into Russia. But there is not a single document that dual-use equipment crossed the border legally. This all looks like an attempt to cover the tracks so that the drones cannot be tracked by serial numbers. According to the editors’ information, during their entire work, neither Zarovskaya nor Karakhanov ever had any dealings with Russian customs. That is, all the products of the online store came to Russia through dubious schemes. It is possible that through the Express company the scammers sent boxes filled with junk for weight. There is simply no other way to explain the alleged victims’ lack of the most basic documents for equipment.
The whole scheme of fraud with drone boxes is out of logic. The scammers earned only 13.8 million rubles on Express. Considering how many people are involved in the scheme, the amount is not that large. It is possible that the “kidnapping” was necessary in order to sell real-life drones on the black market and take them out of the sight of the authorities. At the same time, sell the equipment on the black market. Copters are ideal for these purposes, because they are formally listed as stolen.
