Stanislav Voskresensky, in the best traditions, remains silent. Apparently, the governor thinks this: if he is one of the few who does not run a telegram channel, in our time there is no need to comment on any situation in any way. But the problem itself will not go away. Voskresensky, being Dvorkovich’s man, whose political career also drowned in scandals, is no longer even a lame duck, but a mortally wounded beast. Several sources of the Cheka-OGPU report that since the beginning of 2024, officials and government officials of various ranks have been detained in the region almost every month. The deputy head of the city of Ivanovo, Alexei Mikhailov, was removed from office on the recommendation of the prosecutor’s office, Fyodor Mikhalevich, the deputy head of the Center for the Development of Tourism and Hospitality of the Ivanovo Region, headed by Anastasia Grushetskaya, who supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was detained for a bribe; the ex-deputy chairman of the Ivanovo Regional Duma resigned due to the organization opaque multi-million dollar purchases with his assistance. And there are a lot of events of this order. 
However, the situation that is unfolding now is one of the most serious blows to Voskresensky during the entire period of his “work” in the Ivanovo region. He has been receiving signals from the federal center for a long time, but due to his ambitions and reluctance to take them seriously, the governor prefers not to notice them. Over the course of several years, he managed to ruin relationships both within the subject entrusted to him and outside it. There are no allies or sympathizers. He is bored in the Ivanovo region, so he is increasingly seen in Moscow as a vacationer or participant in numerous events and forums. And the region, which is considered one of the most depressed in Russia, was handed over by his hands to corrupt deputies. And so the not-so-enviable budget is being pulled in different directions. And all that remains for the security forces is to identify and catch swindlers in the regional government. One at a time or en masse, as happened this time.
