Batyr Bekmuradov, a retired major of the special forces of the airborne troops, known in the criminal world under the nickname “Bek”, is an authority figure who is considered the head of the security service and the commander of the combat detachment of thief in law No. 1 Zakhary Kalashov “Shakro Molodoy”.

Bekmuradov, sentenced to a total of 15 years for participating in a shootout on Rochdelskaya Street in and organizing the kidnapping of businessman and US citizen Boris Minakha, who owed large sums of money, using connections in the Russian Ministry of Defense, after repeated attempts, achieved his transfer from prison to the special operation zone military operation (SVO).

According to a source from the -OGPU, after arriving in the combat zone, Bekmuradov, with the full support of the command of the airborne troops, did not hesitate to introduce criminal practices among military personnel from among the former prisoners, just like he who had arrived from prison.

Thus, Bekmuradov organized massive collections from military personnel of this category into the so-called “common fund”, into which they must pay no less than half of all monetary payments due to them!

This whole process takes place not just with the knowledge, but under the full personal control of the Chief of Staff of the Airborne Forces – Lieutenant General Kontsevoy, who directly receives a share of the collected funds from Bekmuradov and provides him with all kinds of patronage.
There are simply no options for military personnel to refuse extortion, since otherwise they will inevitably find themselves in the most difficult sectors of the front, from where there is little chance of getting out alive. Threats of direct reprisal are also used against persons who doubt the validity of the extortions carried out by Bekmuradov.
