The date of release from strict regime of criminal authority Andrei Kochuykov (Italian), who is the “right hand” of thief in law Zakhary Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy), is approaching. Kochuykov, sentenced on March 29, 2018 to 8 years and 10 months in prison in a criminal case regarding the massacre on Rochdelskaya Street in near the Elements restaurant, is due to be released from Penal Colony No. 3 of the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Kaluga Region on October 15. Unlike his boss, who was released early from a penal colony in the Krasnodar Territory in March of this year for medical reasons (Shakro was practically blind in prison), Italian cannot leave earlier than prescribed by the sentence, and is suing the administration of IK-3.

As the -OGPU learned, in the summer of 2023, Kochuykov did not get along with the prison administration, which resulted in his placement in a punishment cell, recognition as a persistent violator of the established procedure for serving a sentence, and transfer from light to strict conditions of serving a sentence for a period of three months. It all started at 6 am on July 29, 2023, when the authority suddenly became ill. Feeling bouts of vomiting, he ran to the toilet without making the bed and throwing on only a cotton jacket. As a result, during the morning rounds, the operational commissioner noted that the prisoner’s sleeping place was unmade and he was not wearing trousers, which were violations. For this, Kochuykov was placed in a punishment cell for seven days.

The Italian’s misadventures did not end there. After his release from the punishment cell, the head of the detachment approached him to accompany him to the medical unit of IK-3 for medical procedures. Kochuykov refused to go there, for which he was subsequently transferred to a cell-type room. Having added to these incidents 15 disciplinary sanctions previously imposed on the authority, the head of the colony recognized him as a malicious violator of the established procedure for serving his sentence. Since the fall of 2023, the Italian has been trying to challenge the penalties in court. In the first instance, they were recognized as legal, but the authority filed appeals, decisions on which were not made.

Another legal process that Italian will have to go through concerns the establishment of administrative supervision over him. The administration of IK-3 filed a corresponding administrative claim against him due to the approaching end of the term. But until final decisions are made on Italian’s appeals against penalties, the colony’s claim for administrative supervision cannot be considered. In this regard, the proceedings on this claim were suspended.

As previously reported by the Cheka-OGPU, efforts for Italian’s early exit from the colony were made by State Duma deputy Andrei Skoch. In the criminal case of bribery of high-ranking employees of the for the release of Kochuykov, there is a document entitled “Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Skoch A.V. decides through Maksimenko M.I. and Lamonova A.N. (at the time of the events, employees of the Investigative Committee – Ed) the question of the release of the direct perpetrator of the raider seizure of the Elements restaurant, A.N. Kochuykov. (nickname “Italian”), with whom they have been on friendly terms since the time of their joint criminal activities in the Solntsevskaya group.”

It is interesting that this document was not submitted to the court with other materials, but remained in the materials gathering dust on the shelves of the investigation. Skoch agreed that he would not be tried for bribing ICR employees, but his “right hand” Sheikhametov (Sheikh), who only acted as an intermediary in negotiations between Skoch and the ICR. By the way, the Sheikh, as Skoch promised him, did not sit down at all.
