An investigator from the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region detained the former first deputy chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, the rector of the Corporate University for Educational Development and the general director of a commercial organization. They are suspected of committing corruption crimes (Part 4 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Part 4 of Article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Part 5 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). 
According to the investigation, in June 2024, Bronstein, holding the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, through an intermediary – the rector of the university, received a bribe in the amount of 25 million rubles from the general director of the company for ensuring unhindered participation in a competition held for the purchase of interactive panels in general educational organizations of the Moscow region, unimpeded signing of certificates of work performed and their timely payment, as well as for general patronage and connivance in the service.
