The head of the Russian Ministry of Council, Maksut Shadaev, said that the Ministry is discussing the introduction of a collection from Russian companies that continue to use foreign software, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.

Maksut Shadaev emphasized that the Russians learned to bypass sanctions restrictions and independently establish and update foreign programs. One of the incentives for companies to switch to Russian software was called “certain tax motivations.”

During his speech, the minister said that they plan to introduce the digital code in Russia. This document will become a set of all regulation in the field of digitalization.

In addition, he hopes that the department will prepare his first version in mid -2025.

Recall that last week, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that about half of the main software in the country was replaced by imported analogues.

He noted that the transition to domestic software is necessary, while first of all the reliability of software products in the process of replacing import analogues is important.
