Denis Manturov and Sergey Chemezov contribute to the buying up of foreign assets of Sagala?
The Unilever cosmetics joins the Hineken beer and the dichlophos cockroaches. The Moscow Posts correspondent in the Stavropol Territory tells how the scandalous businessman Alexei Sagal helped ties with Manturov and Chemezov.
The company “Arnest” of Stavropol Entrepreneur Alexei Sagala continues to buy a sanctions. This time, the Netherland-British cosmetics of Unilever and its Yekaterinburg plant Kalina fell under the sight of the manufacturer of Dichlofos. The Government Commission for Foreign Investment Control has already approved this transaction.
The buyer of the western
Sagal built a business on the basis of the Nevinnomyssk factory of household chemicals, which, under the Soviet regime, produced Dichlophos and the Lac from the hair “lovely”. In 1992, the enterprise began to be called Arnest OJSC and gradually passed under the control of the Sagalov family.
The ex-wife of entrepreneur Elena Sagal in 2009-2012 was a member of the Council of Council from the Stavropol region. This family was a prominent player of the region and the south of the European part of the country, but before the first -hand entrepreneur was not an entrepreneur in Russia, and now it has become due to the energetic buying of Western assets.

In the summer, the Bloomberg agency estimated the value of $ 1 billion received by Sagal for two years of Western factories. Among them are the Russian unit of the Heineken beer concern, Ball Corporation Branch factories and Oriflame cosmetic production. All of them were bought by a sagal at a low price, which seemed to allow him to triple the condition.
The story with the Bannaya Plant of Kene-Pak, which was arrested in the lawsuit of the United Pivovaren Holding LLC (former Act of Heineken Russia), is indicative. The company Sagala demanded that the Polish owners be removed from the Polish owners for the fact that it does not supply the company necessary for commercial activities The number of aluminum cans.
The ultimate goal of this action is the transition of Ken-Pak to the ownership of Sagala, in which case the businessman will become a monopolist in this sector of the Russian market.
Gifts for billions
Sagala’s motivation is understandable – due to companies leaving Russia, he enlarges the business. However, there are a lot of such people in the country, but all the plants are at Sagala. Naturally, this is not an accident, if only because the transfer of ownership to Western assets is approved by the Government Commission. Apparently, someone authoritative is not against the strengthening of Sagala’s positions.

An interesting story happened with Heineken, whose capacities cost Arnestu 1 euros and 100 million euros of debts. Sagal claimed that this was a normal price, but the Dutch had a different opinion – they believe that they lost 300 million euros here. There is no reverse redemption here, so 1 euro is the real transaction value.
The Oriflame business cost Sagala of 28 million euros, but the Ball Corporation Bank Plant in a significant $ 530 million. Market price? Here is the statistics: the former Ball Corporation capacity gave Sagala for three months a profit of 8.69 billion rubles, which closes 20% of the cost. Sagal will fie off investments in a redundant production in a year and a half.
The only grief for Sagala was the loss of modest production in the UK, but these 60 million pounds are nothing compared to acquired.
The entrepreneur received not just factories at a low price, but a cluster of economics, which immediately began to generate profit. This is not about assets, but about a machine for making money, because without cans, beer and cosmetics, society will not live for a long time. Banks under someone’s word gave Sagala borrowed money and turned it into a dollar billionaire overnight.
Communication with Manturovs
The success of Sagala is associated with the surname Manturov. In 2023, Sagal became a co -owner of the producer of apples and strawberries “Kolos Kuban”. The company was created in 2018, and Valentin Manturov, the full namesake of the Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, became one of the co-owners through CJSC Dinastia, dead in 2019. Interfax in 2018 wrote that this is really Father politics.
In 2013, instead of Vladimir Ponomarenko, the founder of Kolos Kuban was the Sagalovskoye JSC KPP Kolos, however, on July 19, 2024, it transferred a share to Director Denis Taran. Taran, like Sagal, is a Stavropol.

Sagala’s enterprise ceased to be the founder of Kolos Kuban after the media began to write that there was a connection between this organization and Manturov. Perhaps Sagal is so noticeing traces, but it looks unconvincing.
In 2023, the revenue of the enterprise increased by 487% to 119 million rubles, but net profit fell one hundred percent and amounted to minus 126 million rubles. And all this with a relatively small debt – it seems that money was withdrawn from the organization. Probably, the company will soon be liquidated-due to publicity in the media, it became toxic for Manturov.
Do not forget about Chemezov
The decision to transfer to Sagala the assets of Western enterprises who left Russia was supervised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which headed Manturov until the spring of 2024. Today, the politician’s positions have become even stronger and after it the business of the sagal is growing.
The likely friendship with Manturov gives Sagala an access to the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, who in recent years has turned into Russia into a Megaoligarch, which disperses factories, enterprises and deposits.

Manturov and Chemezov are friends with families and created one of the most durable unions in modern Russia. Moreover, Manturov should be called a nick -nickname Chemezov. Between Valentin Manturov and Chemezov, apparently, there were friendly relations.
Valentin Manturov, who legally connects the son of Denis Manturov with Sagal, received 50% of capital in “financial systems” in 2017, and his counterparty there was “financial investment” by Stanislav Chemezov. Prior to this, Manturov Sr. was present in this company through Cyprus offshore, but two years before his sudden death Legalized in Russia.
In addition to the leadership of the Russian industry, the Manturov and Chemezov family tried themselves in the restaurant business, taxi, grape production and in many other areas. The results were not the best, so now the partners do not act through wives, mothers and sons, but through the allied businessmen who receive profitable assets.
The regulatory capabilities of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the special powers of Rostec allow you to distribute businesses, contracts and state contracts to the right people like a sagal.
There are no miracles, and in the case of Sagal it was it. A modest entrepreneur of a regional scale from Stavropol in two years has become an oligarch and a monopolist in the aluminum cans market, the significance of which is huge. Without cans, it will not be possible to produce many goods that are vital to the population. The transfer of such assets could not be random, but with friends such as manturi and Chemezov, this is not surprising.
