For three years the Land Court of the Austrian Innsbruck has been considering Baturin’s lawsuit to protect the honor, dignity and business reputation, which, according to the businessman, suffered from the actions of his sister. The dispute arose because of their former family business-the Intacu developer, once one of the largest in Russia. Elena belonged to 75%, Victor – 25%, but his brother lost his share to his sister. In 2007–2008 They entered into a settlement agreement and signed the application to it – these documents became the subject of the dispute. The problem is that there are two versions of the document: based on one, Viktor Baturin has the right to receive compensation based on the fair market value of his package. Each of the parties, of course, claims that the documents located at the opponent is a fake.
The expert of the court concluded that his signature on one version of the settlement agreement belongs to his sister, that is, Elena Baturina signed in the papers for herself and for her brother. It turns out that Victor told the truth all the way, and Elena owes him a quarter of a billion. And if the court makes a decision based on the results of the examination, Baturina, in addition to the loss of the case, is also threatened with criminal prosecution for falsification of documents.
