The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation approved the indictment in the criminal case against Kakha Gazzaev, Murtazi Shadania and Dzhambul Dzhanashia, accused of the murder of criminal authority Vyacheslav Ivankov (Japanchik) (P.P. “Zh”, “h” of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Criminal Code of the Criminal Code of the Criminal Code of the Criminal Code of the Criminal Code of the Criminal Code of the Criminal Code (part 3 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to the investigation, in April 2009, the previously convicted resident of the Moscow Region Ilya Simonia, in order to redo the spheres of influence in the criminal community, organized the murder of Ivankov. To do this, he attracted Gazzaev, Shadania, Dzhanashia, as well as Nugzara Papava and Astamur Butbu.
At the stage of preparation for the crime, the defendants through secretly observation established the lifestyle of Ivankov, the circle of his acquaintances and connections, places of residence, rest and routes of movement.
After that, they illegally purchased Dragunov’s sniper rifle and cartridges for it, the Gazelle car, as well as mobile phones through which they communicated with each other.
Having found out that Ivankov is a frequent visitor to the Thai Elephant restaurant on Khoroshevsky highway in the city of Moscow, the attackers chose the most convenient place near him for shooting.
At the direction of Simony on July 28, 2009, Gazzaev, Dzhanashiy, Shageniya, Papava and Butba arrived at the above restaurant and began to observe the victims.
At about 20 hours, Butba, being in the back of the Gazelle car, shot from a rifle to Ivankov, when he left the restaurant, causing bodily harm, from which he died in a medical institution on October 9, 2009.
Gazzaev, Shadani and Dzhanashia chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
Simonia, Papava and Butba disappeared from the investigation, and therefore put on the international wanted list.
After the approval of the indictment, the criminal case was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
