Taking into account the first time adopted by Twitter, the decision to change the principles and speed of his own moderation service in Russia and the removal in this regard, Roskomnadzor decided not to proceed to the number of prohibited content – to complete blocking the social network in the country, extending the measure to restrict the Twitter traffic until May 15. Thus, Twitter is given an additional time to remove the entire prohibited content from the social network and bring their activities in full compliance with the legislation of our country.
Roskomnadzor will continue to interact with the Twitter administration for the full and speedy removal of all the prohibited information by the social network. Compliance with Russian legislation will fully remove measures to slow down traffic and eliminate the blocking of the service in Russia.
