On January 26, the Moscow Regional Court will announce the verdict to the relative and associate of thief in law Zakhar Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy), David Mirzoev, and the head of the security service of the “criminal general” David Bekmuradov. Previously, the jury unanimously found them guilty of kidnapping US citizen Boris Minakhi. He was a business partner of billionaire David Yakobashvili, then they quarreled. Then Yakobashvili’s relative Mirzoev, together with Bekmuradov, kidnapped Minakhi.

The source said that for Mirzoev, what happened was a complete shock for two reasons. Firstly, he was promised that of the charges after the trial, only Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (arbitrariness) would remain, and the serious 126th (kidnapping) would no longer be necessary. Mirzoev has recently been close to the Directorate K of the FSB of the Russian Federation and “had a hand” in “weaving a web” around the deputy head of the Directorate M of the FSB of the Russian Federation Oleg Menzhinsky.

Secondly, Mirzoev was promised that even in the event of a guilty verdict by the jury, he would not be taken into custody immediately (he was at large) and he would have plenty of time before the deadline was announced to leave the country. Therefore, when Mirzoev was handcuffed in the courtroom, it came as a complete surprise to him.
