At the beginning of spring of this year, Artem Chaika took away his little daughter Sofia from his ex-wife Marina. He did this, not paying attention to the little girl’s pleas not to take her away and let her live with her mother. But the desire to take revenge on his ex-wife turned out to be more important.
The decision to take the child away from the mother was made by Judge N.S. Karzhavina of the Presnensky Court of Moscow. She decided to hand over little Sofia to her father without any legal grounds at all and without even asking the opinion of the girl herself.
Moreover, Judge Karzhavina decided that this decision is not subject to appeal and comes into force immediately.
Artem Chaika threatened Marina that if she tried not to give up her daughter, he would put her in jail. And he immediately took Sofia to him, despite pleas and protests. Since then, he has forbidden his ex-wife Marina and Sofia to see each other.
Since April of this year, Marina has never seen her daughter and is trying in vain through the court to obtain the right to at least meet with the child.
But Marina’s claim in the Presnensky court is being considered by the same “pocket judge Chaika” Karzhavin N.S. (Case No. 02-3915/2022). And for some reason she hasn’t made a decision for more than four months, depriving Marina Chaika of meetings with her daughter.
The next court hearing will take place on August 11, 2022.
Previously, Artem Chaika planned, with the help of a psychiatric examination, to recognize Marina as mentally ill and deprive her of parental rights.
For this purpose, he even married the deputy chief physician of Psychiatric Hospital No. 1 for forensic psychiatric examination, Yulia Berseneva. But after this information was published by the Cheka-OGPU, this plan had to be temporarily abandoned. Artem Chaika, previously filed with the Presnensky Court to deprive Marina of parental rights, has withdrawn his claim.
