A group of VIP prisoners are serving their sentences in the same detachment, in particular the former general director of the Transfin-M company Dmitry Zotov (participant of the “Titov list”). He, along with a number of other similarly “difficult” prisoners and the detachment’s supervisor, Alexander Mashoshin, live on a paid basis (of course, unofficially) separately from other prisoners, they have their own free schedule, they do what they want, calmly receive prohibited items, etc. According to the source, the VIP convicts also wanted to have their own servant, and the orphanage Kurbatov was assigned to play the role. “He was a very calm and reserved guy, but he had absolutely no ability to defend himself,” the interlocutor noted. As a result, the VIP convicts forced Artyom to do all the dirty work for them, carry out their instructions, and constantly humiliated and insulted him. Kurbatov could not stand the humiliation and bullying and hanged himself.
