As the Cheka-OGPU learned, the Turkish authorities refused to grant citizenship of this country to businessman Yuri Budagov, the ex-husband of TV presenter Ksenia Borodina and the father of her child. Also, during the inspection, it was established that Budagov is on the international wanted list, in connection with which clarification was requested from Russia.

The main reason for the refusal to grant citizenship was that Budagov hid from the Turkish authorities the fact that he, in addition to Russian, also had Armenian citizenship. And also the fact that he hid the fact that he was on the international wanted list. On the last point, Turkey is waiting for explanatory materials from Russia. Until Budagov was chosen as a preventive measure, he lives in his property in Istanbul.

A source from the Cheka-OGPU said that in Russia Budagov was a major casher and worked under the “roof” of Konstantin Vesendin, an employee of the FSB Directorate. In 2019-20220, he became involved in a story about receiving bribes by employees of the FSB of the Russian Federation and ICR investigator Ruslan Miniakhmetov. As a result, Vesendin was fired. At the same time, Budagov was left without cover and work was intensified on the case initiated in 2019 about the theft of funds from Region Trans LLC. He was charged in absentia and arrested in absentia.

According to a source from the Cheka-OGPU, in Turkey Budagov was in close contact with crime boss Arman Dzhumageldiev (Dikiy Arman), who is now under arrest for organizing unrest in Kazakhstan.
