In the end, four police officers were captured on the spot, who said that thanks to the signalman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (he was also detained), they were able to obtain logins and passwords of various employees from the bases, received and sold data. The cost of the dossier was approximately 5 thousand rubles, and businessmen in uniform also had exclusive offers to sell a laptop with access to databases for only 50 thousand rubles.
Following the disgraced police officers, the department’s chief communications officer was fired, and his resignation was written by the deputy chief of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Central Administrative District, police chief Alexey Shchipov.
