As the -OGPU learned, the Main Department of the “heavier” the charges against the general director of the Piket Group, Andrei Esipov, and the financial director of the group, Victoria Antonova, who have been held in a pre-trial detention center since April in a criminal case of theft of 2 billion rubles during the execution of a contract for the supply of bulletproof vests for troops participating in the war on the territory of Ukraine. Along with fraud on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the ), they are charged with giving a bribe on an especially large scale (Part 5 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code).

The material on mediation in bribery (Part 4 of Article 291.1 of the Criminal Code) has been combined into one proceeding with a new case of giving a bribe. Five persons involved pass through it, at least two of whom are pensioners. Earlier, the Cheka-OGPU reported about the new accused Semenikhin, who was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
