A source from the Cheka-OGPU told the details of the raid on the Sakharovo migration center, which has long been a real nest of corruption and a branch of the military registration and enlistment office for visitors. A simple operation to expose three defendants (two of them employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) was carried out by employees of the Internal Security Service. The materials that the “special officers” handed over to the Investigative Committee on Monday contain the same scheme: corrupt officials in uniform promised to arrange a meeting with migrants who were placed in a special detention center for money, and to arrange for them to be sent home as soon as possible. In both recorded cases, the inspector of the department for documenting foreign citizens of the Migration Control Department of the capital’s Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rudik Teknedzhyan from Krasnodar, distinguished himself. In the first case, in July of this year, he, together with an intermediary – a native of Dagestan Abdulgapiz Mustapaev (a well-known intermediary in migrant circles, Gapiz or Goga, who can organize a transfer to a special detention center or even a meeting there) allegedly defrauded a certain Melikov, who was interested in meeting with the arrested person and awaiting deportation by Khurramov. The asking price: 37 thousand rubles to the intermediary’s card, which became the main evidence in the case. The second criminal case states that the enterprising Rudik Teknedzhyan “went to work” in August of this year together with an employee of the office of the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens (TSVSIG) of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, Olga Adakina. They misled a certain Shakhabov, who wanted a meeting with Alimov, who was waiting to be sent home, promising him both a date and assistance in the speedy deportation of a person close to the customer. This time, an amount of 43 thousand rubles was sent to the card. According to the interlocutor, all the defendants are charged with fraud, but this is more of an indulgence rather than a punishment, since the corrupt officials actually provided a variety of services within the Center, and not only them. Various extortions flourished and are flourishing with the light hand of high-ranking leaders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and supervising services.
