Interesting facts about the successes of the head of the Oryol “Military Collegium of Lawyers” are reported by our sources: lawyer Ivan Goryainov, who has headed the board for many years, is considered a person who easily enters both the Arbitration Court of the Oryol Region and local courts of general jurisdiction. He has a reputation as one of the most successful “solvers” in Orel and is ready to take on the most complex, but money-making cases. As it turned out, the “resolution” successes of lawyer Goryainov are largely due to the fact that he trumps his supposedly strong connections with the Head of the FSB Directorate for the Oryol Region, Major General Vyacheslav Knyazkov, and regional prosecutor Alexei Timoshin. Major General Vyacheslav Knyazkov worked before his appointment in Orel in 2021 in the FSB Directorate for Chuvashia and in the Central Office of the FSB of the Russian Federation. In the Oryol region, with his appearance in 2021, a rather calm situation was established; there were several high-profile corruption cases, mainly related to the activities of employees of the same law enforcement agencies in the Oryol region (UFSIN, Police, Vice-Speaker of the regional council). Moreover, against this background, the fact of Goryainov’s close relationship with the local FSB directorate, which lawyer Goryainov refers to in private conversations, raises doubts, especially when he promises a solution to problems with the security forces and army men. According to the editors, recently Ivan Goryainov and his team have been promoting their services for exempting from military service those who do not want to serve, on the one hand, and on the other hand, they are allegedly offering existing opportunities to “accommodate” those who want to sign a contract with the Ministry of Defense RF to the required unit.
