The investigation recognized Shapiro, who is a lawyer and assistant to the commander of the Akhmat special forces Apta Alaudinov, as a victim in the new case. According to it, Balakhovsky, Bosinzon, Savoskin will have new sentences added for fraud on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and abuse of power resulting in grave consequences (Part 2 of Article 201 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and in general for a reckless attempt to cheat by 4 billion rubles by Denis Shapiro.
It is worth recalling that Balakhovsky, Bosinzon and Savoskin recently received long sentences – from 9 to 11 years in prison for theft of trademarks and industrial designs from Shapiro. Now their sentences will increase significantly, this time for the theft of plant equipment. 
As the Dorogomilovsky Court of Moscow previously established during the trial, an organized group of fraudsters from among the former managers and founders of a holding company producing household chemicals, as well as Balakhovsky’s daughter and at the same time Bosinzon’s wife, Tatyana Bosinzon, stole not only trademarks and industrial designs, but also managed to steal more than 106 pieces of production equipment: bottling lines, tanks for mixing household chemicals, loaders and much more worth more than 300 million rubles.
“The theft of plant equipment was carried out by the “chemists” in the same simple way, by falsifying backdated supply contracts, according to which it was transferred to legal entities controlled by Balakhovsky and Bosinzon, and Best Clean LLC was subsequently liquidated for a debt of 300 thousand rubles,” said lawyer Roman Kandaurov, representing Shapiro’s interests.
The investigation is not going to be limited to the above-mentioned persons. According to the Cheka-OGPU, previously uninvolved employees of the holding will appear in the case, who are also accomplices in the crimes. In this case, they face charges under Art. 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – “criminal community”, which provides for up to life imprisonment. And with the existing sentence, according to which the trio have already received from 9 to 11 years, for Balakhovsky and his team this means at least 24-25 years in a special regime colony.
According to the Cheka-OGPU, the investigative authorities handed over the plant for the production of household chemicals for safekeeping to the victim Shapiro. He promised the workers that the enterprise would operate as normal, no one would stop production for a minute, and he would not fire anyone. On the contrary, Shapiro offered all employees to increase production capacity, improve working conditions and raise wages, if he wins in the courts. The work collective supported Shapiro’s proposal and expressed dissatisfaction with the former managers and pseudo-founders of the plant.
The investigative actions took place as usual, the team did not interfere with them, on the contrary, everyone took an active part in helping the investigation.
