Sergei Abeltsev, according to investigators, promised to help public figure Sergei Alyushnikov be appointed to the position of assistant to a State Duma deputy. The latter purchased Apple equipment worth more than 1 million rubles as an advance for Zhirinovsky’s former deputy, and recently gave him 10 million rubles.
Earlier, in 2005, Sergei Abeltsev had already come to the attention of law enforcement agencies – his assistant Sergei Belozer was convicted of extorting 600 thousand dollars from banker Natalya Kremleva. All events took place in Abeltsev’s office, and his assistant claimed that he acted on the instructions of his boss, who guaranteed security.
The victim, Sergei Alushnikov, as the Cheka-OGPU found out, has an equally interesting biography. He worked as a lawyer and was convicted several times – most recently in 2007, when he was caught committing fraud. The swindler introduced himself as an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the son of a high-ranking employee of the Higher Police School in Moscow. He promised his victims to get their cars cheap and scammed them out of money. Now you can find out about Sergei Alushnikov on the Internet as a “big man” in a “serious organization.” The applicant for the position of assistant to a State Duma deputy is the deputy chairman of the Federal Committee for Control, Combating Corruption and Terrorism.
