A source from the Cheka-OGPU reports that following the designer of the Krasnoyarsk metro Oleg Mitvol, who was transferred to serve 4.5 years in Kolomna near Moscow at his place of registration, pre-trial detention center No. 1 of Krasnoyarsk is very eager to leave the members of the organized crime group, who were brought there from other regions in the case of embezzlement of money already near Mitvol itself. Five suspects unanimously wrote statements about their desire to be sent to the SVO zone in order to avoid investigations into other possible episodes and real punishment.

Let us recall that in May, operatives managed to detain in Yaroslavl and take to Krasnoyarsk the organizer of a number of scams – lieutenant colonel from the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Timur Magomedselimov. He is the son of Elena Magomedselimova, who was arrested in September 2023 on suspicion of withdrawing $1.5 million from Mitvol’s account in Dubai using a false power of attorney. Ordinary accomplices of this theft are also being held in the Krasnoyarsk pre-trial detention center.

Since the suspects’ testimony boils down to the fact that Mitvol’s money, after being cashed, was transferred to unidentified persons directly in Dubai, the further chain cannot be identified, which is why the investigation has reached a dead end. The detainees took advantage of this factor, as well as their connections in the security forces, convincing investigators that they would allegedly be of greater benefit to the Russian Federation in the Northern Military District.
