The essence of the “crime” is that Vladimir and Vita Kozlov purchased for 128 million rubles (probably for a general’s pension) three residential buildings with land plots in the Adler district of Sochi, where they decided to make designer renovations, for which they spent more than 70 million rubles . 
To carry out the work, the former First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia engaged the contracting organization Orchid LLC (TIN 2320249625), with which he entered into an agreement, but the appetite comes with eating, which is why the scope of work expanded and went significantly beyond the scope of the previously concluded agreement.
Until the moment of acceptance of the work, the relationship between the contractor and the customer was excellent, but by the time of the final payment, claims and quarrels began.
Further, from Vladimir Kozlov’s wife, Vita, threats began to pour in to file a statement with the police, and then the statement itself.
The Sochi police, having registered the statement of the general’s wife, showed unprecedented agility and the next day opened a criminal case for fraud on an especially large scale.
During the investigation, an examination was carried out, according to the conclusion of which a number of repair works on the castle of Vita and Vladimir Kozlov were not completed, as a result of which the latter suffered property damage amounting to almost 10 million rubles.
This is where the strangeness began: in accordance with the conclusion of the examination carried out at the request of the defense, the work was completed and complies with GOST. However, despite the complete lack of evidence of the crime, the criminal investigation continues.
It turns out that a criminal case was opened only because the applicant is a general?!!!
