Several sources of the Cheka-OGPU reported that during the “famous” meeting of Ksenia Sobchak and Sergei Chemezov (organized by Sobchak’s mother Lyudmila Narusova), the discussion was exclusively about the fate of Sobchak herself. It couldn’t have been any other way, since, when arranging the meeting, Narusova told Chemezov that her daughter had been “framed” by her subordinates. Sobchak herself apologized personally and then publicly “for her subordinates.” At the same time, there were no discussions about mitigating the punishment of the subordinates; the parties agreed that they must answer “according to the law.” 
According to the source, Chemezov’s deputy Vasily Brovko (husband of Tina Kandelaki, who has been in conflict with Sobchak for a long time), was especially smiling. He meticulously reads all the case materials and knew that Sobchak, to put it mildly, was lying about the guilt of his subordinates, saving himself. But when the issue was decided by the “St. Petersburg old-timers” Chemezov and Narusova, of course, Brovko will not interfere.
Then Sobchak began to publicly act out a comedy that she “decided” not only for herself, but also for her subordinates, but everyone who was “in the know” knew that this was a lie and ordinary journalists who had no relation to the shadow would have to “sit” for Sobchak Sobchak’s business on blocks and “orders” in the network of her channels, both official (Beware of media) and non-official (the same Put out the Lights).
According to the interlocutor of the Cheka-OGPU, investigators were initially interested in Sobchak. In the testimony of journalists Sobchak Bigaev and Kuzmin (Romanovsky), as well as in the chat of her telegram channel “Put out the Lights,” there was enough information to bring her to justice. But, after the meeting with Chemezov, during which Sobchak did not save her subordinates, but shifted her blame onto them, she was not even interrogated.
“The testimonies of Kuzmin and Baldukhaev (the one who transferred the money from Chemezov) agree. Why does Brovko claim that Sukhanov + Kuzmin (Romanovsky) extorted money from Chemezov? Because after the meeting between Sobchak and Chemezov, Sobchak was thrown out of the case and replaced as the organizer by Romanovsky. Although Romanovsky had nothing to do with extortion at all. Sobchak and Sukhanov were one. He has been with her for many years and is her right hand. However, it was not Sobchak who was drawn into Sukhanov’s “group of persons,” but Kuzmina and Bigaeva,” our interlocutor noted.
As a result, Arian Romanovsky and Tamerlan Bigaev received seven years each for the “block”, the proceeds from which were supposed to go to Sukhanov and Sobchak.
