Initially, Evgenia Aleksandrovna Egorova bought a substantial plot of land in a forested area from the company of a famous entrepreneur and former State Duma deputy A.V. Zhupikov for a symbolic price – 180 thousand rubles. Before the sale of agricultural land documents, they should have been offered to the municipality, which was not done. There are also questions about the legality of the well on the site, at whose expense gas, road and other infrastructure were installed.
The main thing is that the house in the Sosnovsky district is associated not with his ex-wife, but with the Head of the Tambov region M.B. Egorov, who often visits there. Another member of the governor’s team, General Director of Gazprom Gas Distribution Tambov JSC, Roman Stefanov, also bought land near this site. 
Now the prosecutor’s office will have to figure out what interest Tambov entrepreneurs had in participating in the construction of a house for the ex-wife of the first person of the region.
