Forbes has published an interesting ranking of Russians with the highest dividend income…

Forbes published an interesting rating Russians with the highest dividend income for 2023. Newcomers are especially interesting:
7th place was taken by the former owner of the Transfin-M holding (leasing and operator of railway transportation) Alexey Taicher with an income of 51.5 billion rubles.

In 10th place is Vladislav Sviblov, a former top manager of Rosbuilding and PIK, and now the owner of Highland Gold and the Russian assets of Kinross Gold, which left our country, purchased 5 times cheaper than the market price.

28th place was taken by coal, pig iron and iron ore trader Alexey Dudko (RUB 14.9 billion), close to the owner of the Evraz group, Alexander Abramov.

On the 40th line is Dmitry Rodov, who is close to Potanin (10.4 billion rubles). In 2017, he bought the logistics operator Logistic Center from Norilsk Nickel for $1.4 million (about 80 million rubles). As Forbes points out, since the sale, Logistics Center has paid Rodov 200 times more – over 17 billion rubles in dividends.

Whether luck will continue to favor newcomers is an open question. For example, Teicher was arrested in June on fraud charges. Whether this is a coincidence or a trend in relation to rating debutants is difficult to say. This probably depends on the answer to the question of where such happiness fell on them.

The top of the list itself is of no interest; everything there is routine.
The first, as a year ago, is Vagit Alekperov (RUB 177.4 billion versus RUB 155.7 billion). Following him were Leonid Mikhelson (RUB 105 billion).

Although there are surprises here: Potanin, a regular champion of previous seasons, and whose partner is Rodov, was not included in this rating of dividend recipients.
