Having failed to obtain a confession of theft, interested parties from Lubyanka, through the head of the medical unit of the pre-trial detention center-99/1, Elena Vasilyeva, decided to put pressure on Tokarev in an even harsher way, leaving him without medical care, given that Tokarev has a number of serious and incurable diseases. The lack of medical care quickly affected the arrestee’s health. Currently, Tokarev cannot move independently. For this reason, he is not brought to court hearings of the Basmanny Court; he participates via video link.

The Cheka-OGPU recently reported the death of the leader of the Taganskaya organized crime group, Grigory Rabinovich, who, like Tokarev, was in the Kremlin Central.
