A source from the -OGPU reported that former employees of the FSB Directorate for the Samara Region, Mikhail Gorbunov and Ivan Gudkov, who were sentenced yesterday (12 and 9 years in a maximum security colony), worked “under the roof” of the first deputy head of the FSB Directorate, Galkin. their general patronage through service and also fed from the theft of petroleum products through tie-ins, drug trafficking, contract criminal cases and other criminal schemes.
Gudkov first gave incriminating evidence against his colleague Gorbunov, but then abandoned it, believing the promises of their common boss, Galkin, who promised them to ensure that the criminal case was examined by a military court in the Samara region and, as a result, a controlled lenient sentence was imposed. However, everything did not go according to plan, and Galkin stepped aside, fearing unnecessary light, since operational support of the case was carried out by employees of the 9th Service of the Central Office of the FSB of Russia. The case was transferred for consideration to the 2nd Western District Military Garrison Court.
Currently, Gorbunov and Gudkov have been promised quick release in an alternative way – through the safe option of participating in the SVO. Thus, Galkin does not abandon his “breadwinners” who did not testify against him.
In June 2024, the head of the FSB Directorate for the Samara Region, Akulinin, wrote a report and left his post. Now it’s the turn of his first deputy, the patron of regional oil pumpers and major drug dealers – Galkin.
