Businessmen under are squeezing the world-famous Expocenter from the state. Probably, the site, unique and needed by the economy, will be developed. Sources say that the exhibition complex, including the property of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is in “good hands.” The process is led by the mayor’s longtime partner, and now deputy general director of Expocentre, Yuri Ozerov. A former high-status Moscow official, spoiled by money and power, accustomed to just “sending” and yelling not only at his subordinates, but also at civil servants of his level. He applies the model of working with service providers, common among the Moscow authorities, starting with “kidding” contractors according to the simplest scheme, setting unrealistic deadlines and offering to pay a gigantic kickback. Any work on the site of the exhibition complex is possible only through Ozerov; obviously dangerous work is “pushed through” with shouts about connections and opportunities. The result is, in particular, critical violations during the transfer of communications, as well as a financially beneficial seizure of urban territory for the manager. Those who disagree with his decisions leave with a scandal. Funds are withdrawn through payment companies. Perhaps abroad.

Ozerov, an agronomist with extensive experience in public utilities and the Federal Security Service (housing and communal services, construction), became famous as the head of the Vykhino-Zhulebino administration in 2022, when he purchased curbs for an astronomical amount for the “prettier” ones. Which had previously been purchased by the city and were in storage. Then it turned out that the modest administrator had a Ferrari (registered to his mother), a Bentley, an Audi, a Porsche, a couple of Kruzaks and even simpler cars. And also 50 hectares of land in the Moscow region, serious assets abroad and other little things like a 250-meter apartment in the center of Moscow. But public services in Vykhino-Zhulebino turned out to be very bad. The region almost set a record for the number of accidents on heating mains and other “inconveniences.”
