WITHEmployees of the Nizhny Novgorod prosecutor’s office demonstrate sleight of hand and turn the victim in a criminal case into the accused: a story of mysterious coincidences

10.22.2022 at 4 am on the Neklyudovo-Bor-Valki-Makaryevo highway, where the speed is limited to 40 km/h, Yu.A. Parkhomenko was turning left, he saw a car far on the horizon moving in the oncoming lane, but he was absolutely sure that his maneuver would not create interference and would not even cause the oncoming car to slow down.

Parkhomenko could not take into account that in that same car from the horizon driven by a young man, A.S. Komarov. 5 people are traveling from a nightclub and their speed ranges from 197 to 218 km/h (according to the classics of the genre, it was a BMW).

The BMW arrived at the intersection in a matter of seconds and collided with a turning Renault Parkhomenko.
As a result of the accident, one of the BMW passengers died on the spot from multiple injuries incompatible with life, two others received serious injuries, and Parkhomenko himself lost the ability to walk.

Strange things began at the scene of the accident, but they seemed insignificant, and the situation itself was so obvious that no one attached much importance to them.

It is logical to assume, when in front of you there are people driving you out of the club, that using a breathalyzer would not be superfluous, especially since in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Health of the dated December 18, 2015 “On the procedure for conducting a medical examination…” the examination is carried out to confirm or refute the guilt of the participants accident, and in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 21, 2022 N 1882 “On the procedure for examination for alcohol intoxication …”, the examination should have been carried out first at the scene of the accident by an official using technical measuring instruments, and then in a licensed medical institution. But on the day of the accident, the procedure was carried out only in relation to Parkhomenko, while Komarov was not checked either on the spot or in a medical facility. The investigator was puzzled by this three days after the accident.
Half a liter of vodka from an average weight man (in Russia this is 83.3 kg) disappears in about 21 hours, drugs from 2 to 7 days depending on the severity, but all these processes are perfectly accelerated by droppers in drug treatment centers. This fact is well known, information about it is on the website of many laboratories, we suspect that officials responsible for road safety are also familiar with the rate of elimination (withdrawal) of ethyl alcohol from the body. Therefore, the question arises: was it by chance that the car dealers took so long with the toxicological examination of the driver?

And then the owner of the BMW received an insurance claim, which is also interesting, because he himself did not have insurance. However, this did not stop him from contacting the company that insured Parkhomenko’s liability and receiving money, although until a conviction, guilt is considered uncertain, and the presence of guilt/innocence is a fundamental fact in the decision to assign an insurance payment.

An auto technical examination and an investigative experiment were carried out in the case; the results of these actions are clear: if the BMW was moving at the speed allowed on the site, the accident would not have occurred.

But we know that in addition to the expert and investigator in the case, the car was also examined by another police officer, and from the inside. Why would a police officer waste time examining a wrecked car? What was so important in it that it needed to be taken away urgently or, conversely, to make sure that there was nothing there?
