A source from the Cheka-OGPU spoke about very strange events that are taking place in the Russian Orthodox Church. The patriarch’s confessor, Elder Eli, who was well over 90 years old, was actually exiled to a monastery far from Moscow. The formal reason is the request of the flock due to the fact that they cannot get to their spiritual father, the elder. In fact, most of the spiritual children are in the category of “VIP pilgrims” from among businesses, top officials of departments and heads of regions, as well as security officials. They all do not benefit from the elder being away from Moscow. Previously, the elder was allocated a place in the Patriarchal residence in Peredelkino and a couple more places. Now, according to the decree, there is only one place in the monastery and far from Moscow.

Panteleimon was responsible for all social work in the Russian Orthodox Church for many years. Projects for the homeless, single mothers, large families, orphans. Panteleimon was strange to many church leaders; he did not try to climb the career ladder or get a new residence, did not have expensive cars, and also did not have financial projects. Panteleimon had literally 10-12 months left before his formal retirement, and then he could be sent to rest. But without waiting for the date, Panteleimon was relieved of his position. A new bishop will be appointed to this department in the Russian Orthodox Church in the near future.
