Initially, it was reported that Khaidarov himself allegedly had nothing to do with the incident, and the criminal case was initiated without justification. 
However, now the Investigative Committee has presented to the Zamoskvoretsky court a transcript of audio messages from Khaidarov and his wife, in which they, immediately after the death of the patient, discuss adjusting his medical record, deleting “inconvenient” data and making a different diagnosis.
Voice message from Elagin I.B. – Khaidarov T.T.:
“Timur, look. I wrote to her, but as I understand it, her doctors come later, and they want to take the story and work on it some more . I think that the diagnosis will definitely not happen so quickly, 100%, because I think they will edit both the history and the diagnosis, so, well, probably, for now they can just make a statement without any of our assumptions. Well, I wrote to her, but I think it won’t be earlier than about 9 o’clock there, maybe even a little later.”
Voice message from Khaidarov T.T. – Elagin I.B.:
“Ilya Borisovich, well, try to find out what the diagnosis is as early as possible, okay? Well, and if possible, adjust something if necessary, here. (inaudible) it will be at 8 am, start bombing Inna Mayilievna already.”
Dialogue in voice messages between Elagin I.B. and Silvashy S.A.:
Elagin I.B.: “Light, I called Inna. ZNo one asked for the history, no one took it, so tomorrow they will send her the history, namely the post-mortem discharge summary. She said she will correct the diagnosis herself, but we will also correct it together, she says that there are no questions, everything that is needed, we will write together how it’s correct, so for now that’s how it is.”
Silvashy S.A.: “Got it, thanks! See you tomorrow. Can they remove sepsis?
The discussion is being held with the operating surgeon Ilya Elagin and the chief physician of the hospital, to the intensive care unit of which Gavrilov was transferred shortly before his death (while there was no intensive care unit in Khaidarov’s own clinic, in violation of all requirements).
The routine nature of the negotiations shows that the process follows a well-established pattern – one can only guess at how many patients’ deaths were hidden in this way.
