According to the interlocutor of the Cheka-OGPU, none of the 7 liquidated militants had previously come to the attention of law enforcement agencies, in any case, they “didn’t show up” according to the records of extremist orientation. Among them, two are relatives of the current head of the Sergokalinsky district, Magomed Omarov – his son and nephew. The official has not yet said anything intelligible; according to him, he did not see any prerequisites for the participation of loved ones in the radical action. A civilian car was shot at in the same area, which is linked to two other attacks. 
It is noteworthy that all the attackers were from one village in the Sergokalinsky district, which has been “on the map” in the region along with neighboring villages for a long time. Members of the so-called “Karabudakhkent bandit underground” lived and hid in the “Wahhabi villages.” The main version is that the militants shared the ideas of the Wahhabis (most of them had characteristic features, for example, a shaved mustache and a beard) and the motive for the attack was religious.
All events are planned for early morning, since due to the shelling of the car (the fire was opened from a passing car, perhaps there were accomplices of the attackers inside), the “Fortress” plan was introduced on the territory of the municipal formation of the Sergokalinsky district and the security forces cannot work fully ( plus a shortage of personnel at a distance from the center of the republic).
