The High Qualification Board of Judges has published the preliminary agenda for an extraordinary meeting to be held on June 19.
On this day, the HQCC will consider the submissions of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee to give consent to initiate a criminal case against the judge of the Odintsovo City Court of the Moscow Region, Igor Pechurin. He is suspected of attempted fraud (part 3 of article 30, part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code.
As the Cheka-OGPUF previously reported, in Pechurin’s office, operatives found 500 thousand rubles right in the pocket of his robe. This was part of the first tranche of a 12 million bribe, which, together with Pechurin, was extorted by the judge of the same court, Tatyana Khamkina.
The judges wanted to get money from the defendant in an “ugly” case of pedophilia. In exchange for the bribe, Khamkina was ready to assign the defendant not 20 years in prison, but “only” 12. After the operatives documented Pechurin, the woman recused herself from this case, which is an obvious confirmation of her involvement in the commission of extortion.
The third accomplice in the crime, Odintsovo businessman-fixer Ploshchansky, has already been arrested.
