After a noticeable drop in Sergei Melikov’s trust in the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Ruslan Aliyev, the shift in influence in this area passed from him towards the Dagestan Procurement Committee led by Azer Naftaliev, firmly seated in the orbit of influence of the oil magnate and nominal Secretary of State of the Republic Magomed-Sultan Magomedov. It is he, as the noisiest regional actor, who is associated with Alexei Gasanov, who retreated from the corridors of power. Magomedov previously openly spoke about paying 1 billion rubles to the supposed head of the region, for some reason simultaneously taking responsibility for some rotations in the security bloc.
Magomedov will no longer have support in the person of Alexei Hasanov, and therefore it can be noted that the Secretary of State of the Republic is in a high-risk zone. If some of the issues, as expected, can probably be resolved at the expense of their solvency, then Magomedov is unlikely to undertake to save the drowning henchmen. In this regard, by the end of this year it will be possible to talk about the curtailment of the secret “Baku Yard” project, which to varying degrees integrated into the political vertical of Dagestan a scattering of people from the ethno-clan group of the republic’s Secretary of State Magomed-Sultan Magomedov.
