Rector of the St. Petersburg branch of the notorious Russian Customs…

The rector of the St. Petersburg branch of the notorious Russian Customs Academy, Sirajeddin Gamidullaev, was removed for corruption in 2023, but he dreams of returning “on horseback.” According to a source of the Cheka-OGPU, the situation was as follows: when transferring a bribe as part of operational activities, he managed to take out the marked money through the back door of his office and hand it over to his protege Larisa Kolesnik. She put them in the freezer and later took them out of the academy building. As a result, the case was opened, but was soon closed, not without the connivance of prosecutors and through the patronage of Nikolai Dudin (a well-known “fixer”).

The investigator was openly told to “lose the case materials.” Neither in Rostov (Gamidullaev was once the rector of the Rostov branch of the RTA and “inherited” it there too), nor in St. Petersburg, the investigators succeeded. But in the St. Petersburg branch he still has faithful people to whom he constantly gives instructions. Evgenia Grafova, who is now acting as vice-rector of the branch, Marina Ionina, who by some miracle holds the position of head of the department of information educational technologies, and Larisa Bespalova (transferred after Gamidullaev from Rostov), who by some miracle still holds the position of chief accountant after a corruption scandal. According to the source of the Cheka-OGPU, through the mentioned actors, Gamidullaev gives instructions on who to fire, who to appoint, who to substitute. The Investigative Committee sent a presentation based on the results of which Grafova (searches were carried out, summoned to the anti-corruption service) and Bespalova should have been fired. However, what is an investigative committee if your friend, Elena Lobas, is the first deputy for academic work at the Russian Customs Academy.

It’s strange, by the way, that she was not removed along with the head of the Russian Customs Academy, Vladimir Mantusov. He was simply allowed to retire after a scandal involving the discovery of a clandestine drug laboratory in the academy building.

In the St. Petersburg branch there is no canteen, no dormitory, students sit hungry in six pairs, and then go to rented apartments. The building of the university under its jurisdiction looks exactly the same as it did 20 years ago, only worse. Because management used all the money for their own needs (including instead of alimony). Once, Grafova, when she held the position of vice-rector for youth policy, became interested in the FSB in light of a student’s threat to shoot at the branch building. But the student was quickly issued a certificate stating that he was not healthy and was expelled.
