The Prosecutor General’s Office sent a lawsuit to the Meshchansky Court of Moscow against Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Platon Lebedev and Siberian Leasing Company LLCcan be seen from the card on the court’s website. The department wants to recover almost 1 billion rubles and $2 millionlocated in bank accounts, a source from the Interfax agency clarified. According to him, the Prosecutor General’s Office believes that The Siberian Leasing Company (SLK) is somehow connected with Khodorkovsky and Lebedev.
But in fact, the beneficiaries of SLK are family of Sergei Bogdanchikovthe Dossier Center found out after studying the reporting. SLK is wholly owned by RN-Leasing LLC, which is owned by five Cypriot companies. At the same time the ultimate beneficiaries of RN-Leasing are Alla Mikhailovna Zamyatina and Alexey Sergeevich Bogdanchikovdisclosed in the company’s financial statements for 2023.
Detailed information about Alexey Bogdanchikov can be found in the papers of the Cyprus company Crestpine Limited, one of the five owner companies. Alexey’s date of birth is July 1, 1979, citizenship is Malta. He received his shares from Sergei Bogdanchikov, born on August 10, 1957, a citizen of Cyprus.
All this data is completely coincide with the data of the former president of Rosneft Sergei Bogdanchikov and his son Alexey.
Bogdanchikov Sr. headed Rosneft from 1998 to 2010 – just then, when Rosneft received Yukos assets after the arrest of the co-owners. Now the Bogdanchikov family owns the Datapro company, this is a network of data centers, the website says that it is the largest independent operator in Russia. They also own luxury real estate on Rublevka – the Project publication previously wrote about this.
If the Prosecutor General’s Office is really going to take away more than 1 billion rubles from Bogdanchikov, who is embedded in the Russian elite, it has a good chance of success – the net profit of the Siberian Leasing Company for the past year almost reached 2 billion rubles.
Alexey Bogdanchikov did not answer the Dossier correspondent’s question sent to him via messenger. It was also impossible to contact him by phone.
