In addition to bohemians, witnesses in the criminal case of Roman Baboyan were also seen at the party. The party is also interesting because the defendant Baboyan himself and his lawyer German Kanevsky, citing illness, do not appear at court hearings. Let us remind you that a relative of a high-ranking official is accused of fraud and deliberately false denunciation. According to investigators, he created debt documents and sent them to court in order to receive more than 7 billion rubles. The court of first instance decided to partially recover the mythical debt – 150 million rubles. But the Moscow City Court, after conducting an examination, established that the loan agreement was fake and not only overturned the decision of the court of first instance, but also sent the material to the investigative authorities. A criminal case was opened against Baboyan. The investigation found that even before the trial, Baboyan submitted the same fake agreement to the police and asked that the “borrower” be brought to criminal liability.
The case was charged under two articles in the Nikulinsky Court of Moscow. During the judicial investigation, Baboyan suddenly remembered a childhood head injury and asked the court to order a psychiatric examination for him.
