The Department of the Federal Tax Service for North Ossetia is now occupied with the fate of two of Kochiev’s assets – First Alcohol Manufactory LLC and Istok Spirit LLC. They owe the budget 101 million and 126.5 million rubles, respectively, and the tax authorities are seeking bankruptcy of these companies in arbitration. At the same time, the department still has not paid attention to the larger fish – Istok ZShV LLC, of which Kochiev is probably proud. After all, this company, by the way, which long ago lost its license to produce alcohol, set a record for evading due payments – as much as 156.5 million rubles.
The reason why the North Ossetian Federal Tax Service ignores “Istok ZShV” is not really known. Probably the fact is that the deputy himself is the guarantor for loans issued to the LLC and prevents the company from filing a bankruptcy claim. However, fiscal officials should have known that the amounts concealed by Kochiev more than cover the development programs being implemented in the republic. That is, the activities of a tax evader can be interpreted as causing serious damage to a subject of the federation, not to mention the federation itself. Will this really go unpunished?
