During a press briefing in the State Duma, the leader of the All-Russian movement “Sober Russia”, member of the Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, Sultan Khamzaev, based on the results of the speeches of the deputies, proposed that parliamentarians agree with the leadership of the State Duma on the report of representatives of Rosalkogoltabakregulirovaniya in the Parliament of the Country. This is how he responded to information from State Duma deputy Robert Kochiev, who voiced information about a number of gray schemes that still exist in the alcohol market.
“We demanded the arrest of Chuyan (the fugitive ex-head of Rosalkogolregulirovanie) when he was still on Russian territory. It turned out the way it turned out. Today he travels around the world with the money, the “profits” that he siphoned from the health of our citizens. If you say that his associates are doing something here, then let’s look into it. Let’s figure it out step by step, with evidence,” the parliamentarian noted.
Sultan Khamzaev also stated that everyone is interested in “our Federal Department working as objectively, sterilely, and within the framework of the law as possible.” The parliamentarian expressed the position that all sensible deputies would support this approach and suggested that the deputies jointly appeal to the leadership of the State Duma to urge Rosalkogoltabakregulirovanie to come to the report. “And all the questions that we ask here, so that all this does not go into urban legend mode. Especially today, when the RAR has gained control of the tobacco product market, I would not share here,” concluded Khamzaev.
The idea of Sultan Khamzaev to invite a specialized service to the State Duma and hold parliamentary hearings was supported by State Duma deputies Yana Lantratova and Kazbek Taisaev.
