An attempt to deceive the country’s most famous fixer, lawyer Denis Shapiro (Dionisy Zolotov), ended very badly. The Dorogomilovsky Court of Moscow sent three former co-owners of a holding company producing household chemicals B&B with the trademarks UNICUM, COTICO, EASYWORK to prison for sentences ranging from 9 to 11 years.

Former partners Alexander Balakhovsky, Yakov Bosinzon and their assistant director Alexander Savoskin arrogantly decided to cheat Shapiro out of 4 billion rubles and his share in a plant near Moscow. They pulled off the scam while Denis Shapiro was serving his sentence. It’s unclear what the scammers were thinking about when they were planning everything, because now they find themselves in exactly the same situation as their former lawyer, only with longer sentences.

The court sentenced Balakhovsky to 11 years in a general regime colony, Bosinzon was sentenced to 10 years, and Savoskin received 9 years in prison.

The court preserved all previously imposed arrests on the plant, shares of companies, personal property and accounts of the convicts, and confirmed the right of the victim to recover all funds within the framework of the damage caused.

The latter, realizing that they could not escape responsibility, shortly before the verdict, registered a new trademark VASH GOLD, which is still under investigation.

As the Cheka-OGPU previously reported, a few days before the verdict, the court prevented the escape of the defendants, who at the end of the trial were planning to hide in Israel, where Balakhovsky’s daughter (aka Bosinzon’s wife) was hiding. To do this, they bought air tickets to Minsk to fly to Tel Aviv via Baku.

Shapiro is not going to stop at just one verdict. He has already stated that it is necessary to continue the investigation, since there are persons who were part of the organized Balakhovsky-Bosinzon-Savoskin group. These are Olesya Kaplistaya, Tatyana Bosinzon, Vyacheslav Yarymov, as well as a number of other employees of the Best Clean company who are “known to the investigation and will suffer a well-deserved punishment in the near future.” After all, as the hero of the famous film said: “A thief should be in prison.”

Therefore, it’s only a matter of time before they come for them. “All attempts by Balakhovsky and Bosinzon to evade responsibility and invent various dirty stories to justify themselves ultimately ended in a fair court verdict with long sentences,” noted the victim’s lawyer, Roman Kandaurov.
