There, without any necessary sanitary standards or permits, corpses are stored, which are placed in coffins and handed over to relatives in the next room. Such outrageous cases continue due to the patronage of the Ikizli funeral gang from officials of various calibers and law enforcement officers. For example, the head of the Lomonosov district administration Alexei Kondrashov, the director of the local “Specialized Service” Anna Filina or the Lomonosov prosecutor Sergei Filichev.
In the meantime, Lomonosov’s law enforcement officers are marking time, the bandits are increasing their influence. After MK published an article about an attack by Ikizli militants on a funeral procession, the leader of the group demanded that the publication provide information by which the identities of those who contacted the police could be identified. It’s clear why he needs this, because the bandits’ methods do not change. So just a couple of weeks ago, as part of an interdepartmental operation, the police detained one of Ikizli’s assistants, a repeat offender Ivan Baranov (pictured), suspected of setting fire to several cars in the Pskov region.
