In Novosibirsk, the “power” mechanisms with which the federal center restores order in the region came into action. On March 20, Housing and Communal Services Minister Denis Arkhipov and ex-head of the City Hall Transport Department Konstantin Vasiliev were detained in the capital of Siberia. And a couple of weeks before this, the “prosecutor’s case” ended in Novosibirsk – high-ranking employees of the supervisory department, including former city prosecutor Denis Ferents, were in the dock.

Apparently, the purges of unscrupulous officials and law enforcement officers in Novosibirsk are the beginning of a large campaign initiated in Moscow. According to some reports, another “prosecutor’s case” is approaching, where, based on complaints from numerous businessmen, the so-called “Belotserkovsky group” is being investigated. According to operational data, it includes arbitration manager Anna Belotserkovskaya, her mother – retired judge of the Kalininsky District Court Irina Belotserkovskaya, aunt – current judge of the same body Larisa Belotserkovskaya, as well as an employee of the Prosecutor General’s Office Sergei Belotserkovsky. In addition, the scope of the group’s activities is ensured by tax authorities, law enforcement officers, banks and criminals. They supply the group with information, organize “custom” inspections and forceful takeovers of enterprises.

Now members of the “Belotserkovskaya group” are suspected of large-scale industrial raiding. Connections among judges and tax authorities allow participants to take control of large production sites in the region, paralyzing the work of existing enterprises. Further, the property of these sites is sold off or barbarously plundered: even cases of appropriation of working equipment and other property from the bankruptcy estate have been recorded!

The names of the Belotserkovskys appear in dozens of operational reports about the seizure and looting of production sites in Novosibirsk. Their exact number has yet to be determined by law enforcement agencies, but the well-being of the family confirms the words of the victims and gives many questions to the security forces. For example, can former district judge Belotserkovskaya own a house in an elite cottage community worth more than 50 million rubles and luxury cars? Or permanently reside in Sochi in real estate worth 500 million or more? Is it normal to appoint a person whose parents are involved in the judicial and supervisory system as an arbitration manager?

Everything suggests that the recent loud scandal with the Krasnodar “golden judge” Khakhaleva (who ultimately fled Russia) could be repeated in Novosibirsk – and with even greater consequences. The Belotserkovsky Group not only does not hide a luxurious life, but is also the core of an organized raider group, where government officials serve criminal interests. Whether federal law enforcement officers will be able to respond to this call from the raiders will become clear in the near future.
