In 2021, even before the start of the SVO, a member of the Russian equestrian team, Regina Isachkina, came to a competition in one of the European countries to defend the honor of the country.
The athlete came to the dressage competition with her horses. This is a large-scale logistics operation: transportation, border crossing, documents, and so on. And when all this was over, and the absolute champion of Russia entered the arena, an unknown person called on her husband Anatoly’s mobile phone. Then the Isachkins were informed that security forces had broken into their stable at an equestrian club in the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region. It was a bus with specialists, investigators and criminologists from the police of Dmitrov near Moscow. The callers reported that the Isachkins were suspected of fraud and they came to search the house and carry out investigative actions. You can imagine how the athlete felt on the eve of the competition. That time, Regina managed to finish her performance and, despite the force majeure, received a prize. One small detail – the security forces waited until the whole family left for the competition to implement their plan. According to Anatoly Isachkin, from the moment of donation of the horse until the moment of their departure, no one made any claims to the family.

It should be noted here that in addition to sporting achievements, the Isachkin family are, in a way, philanthropists of equestrian sports – they maintain a shelter for sick horses, carry out extensive breeding work to improve the Russian breed, and at the same time maintain a shelter for stray dogs. A fairly well-known surname in the equestrian world. The Isachkins spent 20 years building the Russian Diamond equestrian complex in the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region. In the early 2000s, after the devastation of the 90s, Anatoly himself was organizing the work of the Bitsa equestrian complex. A criminal case was initiated against the family under the article of fraud (Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The Dmitrov police brought charges against them. The prosecutor supported him and sent the case to the Dmitrovsky District Court to Judge Nemtseva.

The Isachkins themselves are confident that the origins of the criminal prosecution lie in the ambitions of competitors who have long been encroaching on their land. That is why they have no doubts about the bias of law enforcement officers.
