Residents of the left bank part of Rostov-on-Don, living in the area of Shosseynaya Street, decided to turn to Russian President Vladimir Putin, because they are not sure that the local authorities are listening to them. Once a residential complex may appear on the site of the grove, their houses will simply drown. Last fall, the city authorities gave a left-bank plot of 30 hectares in size to individual entrepreneur Pavel Shumeev for the development of a planning and land surveying project. The latter more than once acted in the interests of developers and his appearance on the site seriously alarmed city residents. The construction of the Left Bank Grove with high-rise buildings is a violation in its purest form. It is she who “meets” those who enter Rostov-on-Don across the Voroshilovsky Bridge. It was not by chance that the green area was left there – the framing of the concrete bridge with greenery on all sides was envisaged by the architects. Not to mention that this is one of the last green places in the city center, beloved by city residents.
With the help of the mayor of the city Logvinenko, they intend to transfer the plot without bidding, according to the scheme for the implementation of a large-scale investment project in the field of housing construction.

Residents of Rostov turned to Putin with a request to help preserve the grove on the left bank of the Don

They no longer expect understanding from local authorities.
