In the Solnechnogorsk series, corrupt officials, namely the head of the Investigative Unit of the Solnechnogorsk District of the Moscow Region, Denis Smaznov, began to play spy games. He instructed two burglars who specialize in car theft to carry out this undertaking – to install a listening device. He made similar connections when he was still the head of investigators in the Solnechnogorsk police department, where, while in the corresponding position, he maintained a number of points on the Leningradskoye Highway with girls of easy virtue and collaborated with crime. And the reason was the meeting in case No. 12302460008000191, Art. 159, part 4., which took place on March 5, 2024 and was considered in the Odintsovo City Court under No. 1–126/2024, at which the applicant began asking uncomfortable questions to him and investigator Katkova about their involvement in the extortion of money from the applicant and the subsequent detention by officers FSB lawyer Sarkisyan, also a former police officer and his friend.

It was clear from the answers that they were both nervous, lying and evading. The questions asked to the witnesses made Smaznov think a lot about how the applicant knew so many details? – which prompted him to resort to wiretapping the witness.

With the zeal that the Moscow Region Prosecutor’s Office and the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region show in deflecting responsibility from prosecutor Shishov, the head of the IC Smaznov and investigator Katkova, who are direct signatories and organizers of custom-made criminal cases, with such zeal they are obliged by law to fight crime, and not to divert responsibility from corrupt officials in the ranks of law enforcement agencies, not to stand at the origins of corruption, in difficult economic times in the country.

Stifling entrepreneurial activity, protecting people, taking away businesses and property, depriving citizens of jobs for the sake of their own selfish interests – with the arrival of prosecutor Shishov, this became the norm in the region. The reason for all this is again the shared participation of the Moscow Region prosecutor’s office in Shishov’s material affairs. Stealing has become the order of the day in Solnechnogorsk – other people are not appointed to leadership positions in government agencies.

This action is in the interest of the special services and the Internal Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where Smaznov once again exposes himself to corruption facts that have fully become part of the everyday life of his life.
