As a group of parliamentarians proposed, the federal structure should check the business reputation of the beneficiaries of a company applying for a license to manufacture alcohol or alcohol. And if it is established that they have previously violated alcohol laws, they will be denied the issuance of a document. Moreover, it is also possible to cancel an already issued permit. It would seem like a sound idea, the implementation of which will not affect conscientious players, but will help cleanse the business of toxic bigwigs. However, Kochiev pathetically called it “the last nail in the coffin of the industry.”
However, Robert Ivanovich’s nervousness is quite forgivable. The fact is that his life’s work is under threat: the serial bankruptcy of vodka producing companies and, accordingly, multi-billion dollar tax evasion. Kochiev has been so successful in this over the past 13 years that he even deserved a separate chapter on Wikipedia dedicated to these tricks.
To briefly describe them, it all looks like this: Kochiev and his accomplices, among whom are several relatives of the deputy, regularly create legal entities, receive licenses for the production of alcohol (and there are industrial sites – two in Vladikavkaz, one in Beslan), label the companies debt obligations, after which they are liquidated, having previously withdrawn the money. The names of the gaskets are well known: LLC “Rakurs”, LLC “Centravr”, LLC “Orpheus”, LLC “TD Kupechesky”, LLC “First Alcohol Manufactory” and so on and so forth.
And now Kochiev’s unhindered access to licenses is very much in question. “The Last Nails” is what they are.
