The already high-security zone was trained in advance so that complete alienation was created for Alexei Navalny. For any conversation, or even a glance in his direction, they promised to punish to the fullest extent: at least a beating and a stage “for a traffic light” (sent to a colony in a distant region, for example, in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug) or even to the roosters.”
According to eyewitnesses, a lot of prisoners were specially set up and pitted against the image of Alexei Navalny in order to nip in the bud any manifestations of sympathy and solidarity inherent in people in dungeons. One of the most effective tools, in addition to other regime reinforcements, was that with the arrival of the politician, morning exercises were introduced for the entire camp on weekends (the only days of relaxation for workers).

These convicts watched Alexei Navalny day and night and tried to keep him in suspense every hour. For example, any trip to the politician’s toilet was accompanied by an escort of these so-called goats. The unfastened button on the robe, which was prudently given two sizes too small, is number 1 for the convict – this is their bread. A “violation” was recorded and Alexei Navalny was “charged” to a commission, and from there to a punishment cell.
