Disputes over limits for Russians on online purchases continue unabated. Extend the duty-free threshold of 1,000 euros for the duration of the sanctions, that is, until February 2025, or reduce it five times – to 200 euros. The Ministry of Energy believes that there are enough domestically produced goods on the Russian market, and citizens who can afford to buy something for 100 thousand rubles. showsthat the leader among the categories of expensive purchases – over 20 thousand rubles (equivalent to 200 euros) – is household appliances and electronics: more than half of the respondents purchase them. The second most popular place among respondents who made purchases worth more than 20 thousand rubles is occupied by the category of accessories, components for gadgets for cars (40%). That is, those categories that are not represented on the Russian market. The solution is obvious – to extend the duty-free import threshold of 1,000 euros for online purchases for another year. EAEU partners will support.
